POSITION OVERVIEW
H2O is seeking a Journey Level Electrician (WA license 03A to 01 or greater) to work out of either our Deer Park, WA or Hayden, ID branches. The individual will be tasked with performing electrical work related to residential and/or commercial well pump systems installs and/or repairs of existing systems. You'll work hands-on with VFD pump controls, well pumps, pressure systems, and the electrical and plumbing components that keep them running — learning a trade that's always in demand and never quite the same job twice.
This role has the opportunity for promotion, for the right candidate with a strong work ethic, great technical skills, and promising leadership skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation & Repair
- Install new well pump systems, including submersible pumps, pressure tanks, and related controls
- Diagnose and repair existing pump systems for residential and commercial customers
- Perform plumbing connections and adjustments required for proper pump system operation
- Wire and troubleshoot electrical components associated with pump systems, including motor controls and pressure switches
Field & Site Work
- Load, transport, and set up equipment and materials needed for each job
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout installation or repair work
- Communicate clearly with customers on-site regarding job progress and next steps
- Assist senior technicians and the Service Manager on more complex jobs as needed
Leadership & Training
- Help develop young apprentices, expanding their knowledge base of electrical and plumbing work
- Stay up to date on all code requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Journeyman licensure in Washington state (03A to 01 or greater)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, digging, and working outdoors in varying weather
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- Prior experience with well pumps, water systems, or general plumbing/electrical work
- Working knowledge of scheduling, dispatch, and job-costing software
- Ambition to advance into leadership roles
No prior pump experience required as we will provide full on-the-job training for the right candidate.
