H2O Innovation is seeking a new team member for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Gulfport, MS team. Our next colleague will hold a full time & permanent position. Your primary duty will involve operating heavy equipment to clean ditches and ensure proper drainage flow.

The Day-to-Day
- Perform ditch cleaning to maintain optimal hydraulic and drainage flow.
- Operate a variety of equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, and graders.
- Ensure all daily operations adhere to safety protocols and are executed efficiently.
- Request utility line locates and complies with line locate policies.
- Prepare and submit written reports as required.
The Skills We Are Looking For
- Valid driver’s license and high school diploma/GED.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience operating excavators, backhoes, dozers, and graders.
- Experience with pipe-laying in the construction field is advantageous.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and establishing grade preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the public, team members, and supervisors.
- Capable of performing physical tasks in diverse weather conditions.
The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
