Environmental Technician

H2E Incorporated is looking to hire an Environmental Technician(s) in our Denver, CO office. We are excited to find a candidate(s) that will help us continue to grow our environmental engineering/consulting services throughout the United States. As a growing environmental engineering/consulting company, we are looking for individuals interested in working on a wide variety of projects.

The primary duties include assisting more senior staff with the following tasks for our oil and gas production and midstream clients in ND, SD, MT, WY, UT, CO, TX, OK, and LA (but primarily CO for this posting):

· Stormwater pollution prevention and management

· GIS-mapping and data collection/management

· Spill prevention, control, and countermeasure (SPCC) compliance

· Reclamation-related services

· Vegetation identification and monitoring

· Soil profiling/sampling

· Leak detection and repair (LDAR) with infrared cameras and/or similar technology

· State and federal environmental and regulatory compliance

The position will involve a combination of field work and office work in support of our client services. Candidates must be self-motivated, able to work independently, have an attention to detail, and be committed to contributing to a safe working environment. Applicant must be physically able to walk across varied environments and be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 60 pounds in the course of work activities. Applicant must have a clean driving record, experience operating four-wheel drive vehicles in all weather conditions, and be comfortable conducting field work in all seasons. The position may require occasional travel (a couple times a year or slightly more) in support of services outside of the Denver office location.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a science field;
  • 0 to 2 years’ experience in environmental engineering/consulting;
  • Pass pre-employment and random drug tests; and
  • Have a proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
