We are seeking a fireplace installer for new homes and commercial buildings. Our Fireplace installers are an essential part of the H2 team and key to our success with our customers. H2’s ideal candidate will have a passion for service and a strong commitment to our team. Prior construction/Fireplace installation experience is preferred in this role; however, we are willing to train the right candidate. Candidates must not be afraid of heights, able to climb a ladder and walk on a roof. Must have accurate measurement skills.
Job description
Duties and Responsibilities: This role is charged with the following duties and responsibilities
- Installation of gas and wood fireplaces, gas logs, and other related products according to the local codes and installation instruction, making efficient use of time and materials, to the full satisfaction of the customer.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of installation codes, restriction, and technical product information of all H2 fireplace units to enable reliable solutions and decisions to service problems.
- Work with Vendors and management to develop possible solutions to problems unable to solve alone.
- Work directly with the customer to resolve on-job problems or complications in a polite, courteous, and professional manner, and communicate the best solutions to the customer in a polite courteous and responsible manner.
- Meet with homeowners to instruct them on proper and safe use of fireplace products.
- Provide quick and accurate response to service problems that may arise regarding wood, electric and gas fireplaces, gas logs, and other related products.
- Keep vehicle clean and organized, inside and outside, and wash weekly.
- Clean and maintain the original condition (other than normal wear & tear) of all company tools, equipment, and apparel.
- Performs job site previews of fireplace installations as requested.

Qualifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license to perform job duties, ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and be able to climb a ladder and walk on a roof.
Pay Range:
$25.00 - $35.00/hour - Based on experience.
