We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused outside outside sales rep to join our team. This role is responsible for maximizing the sale of equipment, rentals, parts, and service offerings by developing strong customer relationships and actively pursuing new business opportunities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, NE. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored equipment solutions. Key tasks include managing sales inquiries, providing equipment recommendations, negotiating contracts, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the products and services offered by H2 Equipment.

Located in Columbus, NE, our Service Department performs repairs, inspections, and general maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently. Qualifications/Responsibilities
- Service existing accounts & establish new ones by planning & organizing daily work schedules to make visits to all customers & cold call new ones
- Promote & sell equipment, rentals, hydraulic hoses, cylinder rebuilds, parts & service packages
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of the products & services offered
- Build strong rapport with customers & provide ongoing support
- Generate leads via, cold visits, phone, email, text & social media outreach
- Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
- Confident in presenting technical products & services
- Self-motivated, organized & goal-oriented
- Experience in equipment dealerships, distributors, rental equipment, or light construction is a plus
- Knowledge of marketing, territory management, negotiation & prospecting
- Communication and Negotiation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively
- Problem-Solving and Organization: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities efficiently
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and construction equipment components is a plus
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in sales, customer service or the construction equipment industry is a plus
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for client visits and industry events
