What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agricultural Equipment Operator position at H & T Parker Farms LLC?
We farm 3,000 acres of seed corn, commercial corn, soybeans, milo, and tomatoes. We need employees to assist with all aspects of growing these crops starting with field prep, planting, spraying, field maintenance, harvesting and hauling the crops from fields to storage locations. This is a combination of ground farmed with machinery usage to grow all the crops for us. All crops are machine harvested, and machine planted. Employee will operate UTVs, ATVs, tractors, farm trucks, combines, sprayers, and trailers for assigned field activities, harvest, loading/unloading grain, transport, and delivery. Employees will use GPS equipment and field computers. Employees will assist with farm maintenance and control. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. No commercial trucking is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
