We're a growing residential and commercial HVAC/refrigeration company looking for a motivated, dependable Startup/Service Technician to join our team. What You'll Do
- Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and mechanical systems across diverse property types
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and troubleshooting techniques
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan
- Perform service calls and equipment troubleshooting to ensure optimal system operation
- Coordinate with clients for service appointments and ensure all work complies with safety standards, including EPA refrigerant regulations
- Document work performed accurately in service logs and reports
- Travel to job sites within our 60-mile service radius
- Participate in an on-call rotation outside regular business hours
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of hands-on HVAC/refrigeration field experience, with a strong background in HVAC design, installation, and repair
- Expertise in electrical diagnostics and mechanical systems repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring, plumbing layouts, and HVAC controls
- Mechanical knowledge of boilers, air conditioning units, and HVAC/R equipment troubleshooting
- Proficiency with hand tools, welding, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Ability to lead a team of technicians while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Clean driving record, valid driver's license required
- EPA Universal certification preferred
- Comfortable commuting within our 60-mile service radius
