Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our team of vegetation management specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progression, adherence to safety standards, and high-quality workmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work all over the state of Arkansas supporting airsaw operations, storm work, and other vegetation management tasks.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, farm tractors, lawn mowers, and other machinery to perform the assigned task.
- Manage and operate specialized equipment including Brush hogs, Mulchers, and Grapple attachments
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and basic daily maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning before each use.
- Follow detailed instructions from project supervisors to complete tasks accurately and on schedule
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and promptly reporting any mechanical issues or hazards.
Requirements
Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, loaders, excavators, and other heavy machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
