As the Senior Accountant, you will provide accurate reconciliation of business accounts, this includes bank statements, inventory reconciliations, and auditing quarterly, monthly and yearly accounts – to ensure compliance and clarity. You will perform in-depth financial preparation and analysis of accounts and reporting of financial variances to ensure accuracy.

In This Role You Will

• Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Document financial transactions by entering account information.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Assist with resolutions to accounting issues as they arise and discuss concerns with a solutions-forward approach.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in accounting, public accounting would be a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Experience with financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include V-LOOK-UP’s and Pivot Tables.
• Experience with ERP conversions - a plus.
• Manufacturing experience - a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
• Persistent drive for excellency and improvement.
