Responsibilities

• Assist clients in gathering and organizing tax documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Support the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns using tax reporting software
• Learn and apply basic tax law principles to ensure compliance with current regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients to clarify financial details and answer questions about their filings
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information while managing client records
• Support the review of financial data using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
• Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to attract new clients and expand our client base

Qualifications

• Strong math skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry (10 key typing proficiency preferred)
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts, financial software, or bookkeeping is advantageous but not required
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Demonstrated interest in finance, accounting, or related fields; prior public accounting experience is a plus but not necessary
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new software tools, and follow detailed instructions
• Familiarity with tax preparation software or related tools such as QuickBooks or Sage is beneficial but not mandatory
