Job Overview

Location
Seasonal Tax Professional opportunities are available throughout the Asheville District Market. Applicants will have the opportunity to discuss preferred work locations during the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate individual tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Interview clients to gather tax information and identify eligible deductions and credits.
- Review tax documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Provide professional, personalized service and build strong client relationships.
- Educate clients on available products and services that support their financial needs.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Stay current on tax law changes, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with office team members to support client and business needs.
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior tax preparation experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to complete required onboarding, licensing, and certification requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new technology platforms.
