We’re looking for a Security Analyst, with a focus on Policy & Standards, to join our Information Security Supplier Governance, Policy, and Security Awareness team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping and maintaining our global information security policies, standards, and procedures. Your work will help ensure that our documentation is clear, compliant, and actionable, supporting our mission to protect data, systems, and people.

Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.

$73,400.00 - $110,100.00/Yr.

Day to day, you'll...
- Draft and update policies, standards, and procedures using approved templates, keeping everything consistent and easy to follow
- Manage version control will be part of your day-to-day, making sure documents are organized and searchable in our policy repository
- Coordinate reviews with stakeholders and track approvals to keep everything on schedule
- Map policy requirements to frameworks like NIST or PCI
- Help prepare communication materials for policy updates and assist with training logistics
- Create SOPs, process flows, and job aids based on input from subject matter experts
- Track important metrics, such as reviewing cycle completion and training participation, to measure success
What you'll bring to the team...
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related discipline, or equivalent experience through bootcamps, military service, or self-study
- 2 years’ experience in Information Security, Compliance, or Process Documentation
- Strong writing and editing skills; ability to simplify technical requirements
- Familiarity with governance frameworks (NIST, PCI) and basic audit concepts
- Proficiency with document management tools and workflow tracking
- Detail-oriented documentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination
- Ability to learn and apply compliance concepts quickly
- Certifications: Security , Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt, or similar
- Experience with cross-functional coordination and change communication
