Responsibilities

• Prepare and review various tax documents including individual, partnership, and corporate returns using tax preparation software.
• Assist clients by gathering necessary financial information, explaining tax concepts, and answering questions related to tax law and compliance.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and analysis of client data using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage.
• Support tax reporting processes by organizing documents, verifying data accuracy, and adhering to deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Stay updated on current tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and optimize client outcomes.
• Contribute to marketing efforts by participating in client acquisition activities and promoting our services.

Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and tax law.
• Experience with tax return preparation software and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools.
• Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail in processing complex financial data.
• Proficiency in math, 10-key typing skills, and technical accounting tasks including bookkeeping.
• Effective client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Knowledge of partnership and corporate tax expertise is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple deadlines during peak seasons.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
