Qualifications and Requirements:
Hold a Texas Standard Principal’s Certificate
Hold a master’s degree from an accredited institution for higher education
3 years experience as a classroom teacher
3 years prior experience in instructional leadership roles preferred
Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction
The ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness
The ability to manage budget and personnel and coordinate campus functions
The ability to explain policy, procedures, and data
Strong communications, public relations, and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits
Salary Range $77,190 - $106,620 (According to JH Principal Salary Schedule)
Group health insurance coverage is provided through TRS-ActiveCare, the statewide public school health insurance program. The district contributes $300.00 per month ($3,600.00 annually) toward employee health insurance coverage for eligible employees who choose to participate in TRS-ActiveCare. In addition to the local contribution, the state pays a health insurance benefit of $75.00 per month ($900.00 annually) toward coverage to each employee who participates in TRS-ActiveCare
226 Day (12 Month) Contract
