What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Painter position at H & N Auto Body?
Auto Body Painter / Body Technician – Full-Service Production Role
We’re looking for an experienced Auto Body Painter / Body Technician who can handle repairs from start to finish — not just paint.
This is a production-oriented shop, and we need someone who wants to work, stay busy, and produce quality results every day. We are looking for a serious technician who can keep jobs moving without sacrificing quality.
The right candidate must have hands-on experience with:
- Dent pulling and metal work
- Bodywork, sanding, prep, and panel straightening
- Replacing damaged parts and reassembly
- Tear-down through final finish
- Spraying, blending, and panel refinishing
- Cutting, buffing, and polishing to a customer-ready finish
We need someone who can maintain high-quality standards while working efficiently on every job. This position is for a well-rounded technician who takes pride in their work and can complete jobs the right way from start to finish.
We are not looking for someone who needs to be pushed every day. We need someone motivated, dependable, and ready to produce. If you’re serious about your work, show up on time, and can move with purpose, this may be a great fit.
Requirements:
- Professional, punctual, and reliable
- Strong production mindset
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management
- Respectful of the shop, tools, equipment, and customers’ vehicles
- Keeps a clean and organized work area
- Follows safety procedures and shop standards
- Takes pride in doing the job right the first time
If you’re a skilled, dependable technician who can handle both bodywork and paint — and you’re ready to work in a shop that values production and quality — we’d like to hear from you.
