ASSET DIRECTOR
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for facility and construction management, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to multiple teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the daily operations of facility management teams, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Develop and implement best practices for preventive maintenance, energy management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize project outcomes and meet organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to facility management and construction.
- Develop and implement inspection programs to maintain regulatory compliance and minimize risk.
- Oversee the refrigeration management team, ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and compliance of refrigeration systems.
- Implement best practices for refrigeration efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Develop and manage budgets for facility, construction, and refrigeration initiatives, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, safety, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of facility and construction management initiatives.
- Provide leadership in developing and implementing cross-functional projects.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in facility and construction management, with a track record of successfully leading teams in complex and dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and execution aligned with organizational goals.
- Knowledge of best practices in preventive maintenance, energy management, sustainability initiatives, and refrigeration systems.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing facility management and construction.
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on quality, budget adherence, and timely project delivery.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Proficient in budget development, cost control, and resource optimization.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
