American Fuels Service, a division of the H&K Group, Inc. is looking for a full time Service Technician/Building Maintenance person to maintain various buildings as well as take charge of all facets of HVAC service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing existing equipment as well as overseeing installation and start-up of new systems. The ideal candidate is detailed, organized, and has the ability to work autonomously.

- Establish and maintain a cleanliness standard throughout all assigned locations/buildings
- There are several buildings located on site that require maintenance and cleaning
- Establish communication with building/maintenance manager to ensure all locations are cleaned properly
- Clean and maintain the following areas within assigned buildings
- Restrooms, break rooms, kitchen areas, floors (including stairs and hallways), windows, office areas, foyers, boardrooms
- Cleaning duties include (but are not limited to)
- Trash, cleaning, sanitizing, polishing, vacuuming, mapping, sweeping
- Ability to work the hours of 4 PM - 1230 AM Monday through Friday (total 40 hours per week)
- All supplies and materials furnished by H&K Group, Inc. Ensure needed supplies and materials are communicated to the building/maintenance manager for needed availability
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as a GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one to three months of related experience and/or training
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for email communication purposes
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills
- Demonstrated customer service and teamwork skills
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Two years of relevant cleaning/maintenance experience
