We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team . POSITION IS MONDAY - FRIDAY 8am -1pm
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of carpets, windows, and hard-to-reach areas
- Assist with custodial duties related to trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitation procedures
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures or equipment and assisting with light upkeep tasks
- Use commercial cleaning tools effectively to ensure high-quality results in both residential and commercial settings
- Maintain a safe work environment by following proper safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and extractors safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep activities
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning under tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
