Position Overview:
H&K Chevrolet of Archbold is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. This role is responsible for cleaning, reconditioning, and preparing vehicles for sale and delivery to ensure they meet dealership and customer satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, wax, and buff exterior surfaces of vehicles
- Vacuum, shampoo, and clean interior surfaces including carpets, seats, and upholstery
- Clean windows, mirrors, and trim to a streak-free finish
- Apply protectants and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or issues
- Move and park vehicles safely on dealership property
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail area and equipment
- Assist with lot upkeep and general dealership appearance as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior detailing experience preferred, but not required (we will train the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed
