Summary
Responsible for all the planning and management of the respective project’s field activities. Responsibilities include trade preparatory and coordination meetings, maintaining schedule, ensuring safety compliance, conformance with the design documents and assuring quality work. Demonstrate the competence to manage the larger projects or multiple projects within the Company.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 7 - 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Scrub design documents to plan all field procedures for construction and staffing requirements to meet the construction schedule
- Order tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules
- Coordinate and direct supervisory subcontractor personnel to meet the project objectives
- Confer with supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances within workforce.
- Confer with supervisory, supplier, engineering and inspector personnel to resolve construction coordination challenges to improve construction sequencing, logistics and delivery methods
- Inspect work in progress to ensure workmanship conforms to project specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
- Prepare daily reports, progress reports, material tracking reports and make updates to the construction schedule
- Perform work in a safe manner and actively encourage others to comply with safety rules and regulations
- Supervise one of the Companies larger projects or multiple projects; plan and manage a field staff that includes multiple Superintendents.
- Provide leadership and set an example for Superintendents and field staff.
