What You'll Handle
- Set up and run vertical hone machines and jig bores to produce high-precision parts.
- Read, interpret, and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and address minor mechanical or process issues.
- Monitor operations and make adjustments to meet quality requirements.
- Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments to confirm tolerances.
- Work with the team to identify improvements that enhance efficiency.
- Keep the work area organized and follow all safety protocols.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining-related technical education preferred.
- Proven CNC experience with vertical honing and jig boring equipment.
- Comfort with CNC programming concepts and G-code.
- Skilled with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related metrology tools.
- Strong blueprint literacy and documentation comprehension.
- Detail-oriented troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and team collaboration.
