Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paving Superintendent to lead and oversee paving projects from start to finish. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate a team, manage project schedules, ensure safety compliance, and deliver exceptional quality on every project.
Duties
- Lead and supervise paving crews, managing daily operations on construction sites to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to specifications
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide the team and verify accuracy
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and timely resolution of issues
- Qualifications
- Excellent management skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment
- Minimum of 5 years asphalt experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- CDL Class A preferred.
