Hours:This is a full time, 5 day work week position. Saturday hours are required each week.
We are open Monday- Friday 9am- 6pm and Saturday 9am- 5pm
Job duties:The job duties for this job are very broad and our ideal candidate will be ready for anything and willing to help where needed. Typically, the following is what our delivery drivers day consists of:
- Delivering and setting up furniture and appliances for customers
- Delivering furniture and setting it up on our showroom floor
- Assembling furniture
- Unloading trucks at our warehouses
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Scheduling deliveries and providing our customers with excellent customer service
We are also a house rental company and this position will require odd jobs to be done for them occasionally, such as, maintenance and grass cutting.
License:
- Valid drivers license with proof of good driving record
Experience:
- Furniture delivery of 1 year or more is preferred but not mandatory
Education:
- High school or equivalent
