Role Description The Event Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Las Vegas, NV, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, you will manage the full event sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing. You will collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, recommend event solutions, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless planning and execution. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, conducting site visits, preparing event proposals and budgets, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or booking systems. You will also nurture existing client relationships, identify opportunities for repeat and referral business, and support on-site event oversight as needed to ensure client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong event-focused skills, including Event Planning and Event Management, with experience coordinating timelines, vendors, and logistics.
- Proven Sales and Private Events experience, including prospecting, closing business, and meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to present proposals, negotiate contracts, and build trust with diverse clients and partners.
- Experience in hospitality, venues, or catering is highly preferred, particularly in a high-volume or luxury environment.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setting in Las Vegas, NV, with willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, event management software, and standard office productivity tools (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets).
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
