What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Rolloff Driver/ CDL Dump truck Driver position at H&H Environmental of Georgia LLC?
As a Rolloff Driver/Dump Truck Driver, you safely operate a heavy-duty truck and are responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large mobile open top containers or Dump Trucks to disposal sites, transfer or recycle facilities, rock quarries, inert yards, and customer locations. Rolloff Drivers and Dump Truck drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways and may operate in tight overhead environments while on industrial routes. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential, to successfully perform this job.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:
· Operates vehicle in accordance with OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
· Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service-related issues.
· Immediately reports any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
· Identifies and reports all containers in need of repair or replacement and any Truck related issues.
· Completes and submits customer tickets as required.
· Follows route assignments as directed.
· Positions and / or returns container on the customer’s property in a manner that ensures lids and or doors are properly replaced, and do not block driveway entrances or traffic. Same for Dump Trucks.
· Provide prompt, courteous and complete services to our customers.
Qualifications:
· Requirement, Class A or B CDL- therefore, an applicant must be 21 years of age.
· Legally eligible to work in the United States.
· Preferred experience driving a manual transmission due to most of our trucks are manual
· Rolloff CDL trucks, CDL dump truck and/or CDL concrete truck driver experience a plus
