Responsibilities
- Direct all manufacturing functions including production, engineering, mining, maintenance and administrative functions.
- Plan for capital improvements and projects.
- Establish effective employee relations to ensure the availability of a well-trained and motivated work force.
- Maintain a safe working environment and an atmosphere of continuous improvement, with a heavy focus on MSHA.
- Develop subordinates, as well as direct, train, supervise, schedule and overall management of the operation to ensure quality output at minimum cost.
- Regularly interface with sales, marketing and customer service to ensure customers’ needs are being met.
- Responsible for maintaining production rates to best utilize equipment and labor while managing costs.
- Oversee planning and execution to ensure long term goals and objectives are met.
- Has involvement with other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- BS in a related technical field or business field
- Minimum of 10 years of management experience in an industry-related field
- Must currently be in a Plant Management role
- Must have the ability to manage and balance plant-wide production and maintenance needs.
- Must have a strong customer focus for both internal and external customers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated balance between analytical and creative thinking.
- Must be a self-starter who seeks responsibility and is able to work with minimal direction.
- Must demonstrate a willingness to challenge conventional ideas and to be flexible and be able to function effectively in a team environment.
Pay: $215,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year

Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- industrial management: 10 years (Preferred)
- cement production plant: 5 years (Preferred)
- mining, aggregate or similar: 5 years (Preferred)
