What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at H & H Consulting?
Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor needed for a cement plant. Some duties may include
- Optimize Maintenance Costs – Identify and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Enhance Equipment Reliability – Develop and oversee a predictive maintenance program to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Lead Corrective Maintenance Projects – Plan, coordinate, and supervise assigned projects to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Manage Shutdown Repairs – Strategically plan and execute critical repairs during scheduled shutdowns.
- Oversee Capital Projects – Ensure the successful completion of capital improvement initiatives, from planning to execution.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- (2) year degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical) or related fields is preferred
Experience:
- Prior experience of 2-5 years in a maintenance supervisory role
- 5 years in maintenance position in a cement plant, large-scale mining (gold/copper), steel plant. (welding, conveyors, motors, gears, etc.)
- Supervisory experience.
- Proficient with reading blueprints and schematics
