AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN - TRANSMISSIONS

(Pay Range $55k to $150k)

Job Overview - How You'll Contribute:

H H Chevy is seeking a skilled and detailed-orientated, Automotive Service Technician to work on Transmissions in our new multi-million-dollar dealership at the Steel Ridge Auto Mall in Papillion.  If you have experience with diagnosing transmission problems and transmission rebuilds and repair, then this role is perfect for you! As an Automotive Technician - Transmission at H H Chevy, you will work in a fast-paced, fun environment and develop your automotive skills alongside the best of the best in Automotive Service, growing your skills, and compensation for doing what you enjoy! You will need a set of automotive tools, a quality mindset, and desire to work with a fast-paced team of outstanding Technicians! (Pay Range $55k to $150k)

• Repair damaged or malfunctioning vehicles specific to transmission repair:
  • Use Diagnostic tools, road tests and inspections.
  • Medium Duty Diesel Repair.
• Remove, disassemble, inspect, repair, or rebuild transmissions as needed.
• Reinstall transmissions and ensure proper operation and vehicle performance.
• Perform fluid and filter changes, transmission flushes, and software updates.
• Frequently use hand tools, and power tools.
• Maximize Customer Satisfaction by providing the best service to each individual.
• Pay Range $55k to $150k

Qualifications - What You Need to be Successful: 

• 2 years’ experience in a GM Dealership preferred. 
  • Skilled in Transmission Repair.
• Strong knowledge of automatic and manual transmission systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
• You will need your own automotive tools, toolbox will be provided.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills. 
• A clean driving record. 
• High energy, partnered with a positive attitude.
• Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. (50 lbs. overhead) throughout the day. 
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
