We're expanding and looking for a skilled Welding Superintendent to lead our field welding operations. If you have strong leadership experience, a deep technical background, and take pride in delivering high-quality work, this is an opportunity to step into a key role with room to grow.
Primary Job Function
The Welding Superintendent oversees, coordinates, and supports welding crews on commercial and industrial projects. This role ensures work is completed safely, accurately, and in alignment with project plans, timelines, and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications
• At least five years of foreman or crew-lead experience, plus a minimum of ten years of welding experience
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, mentor, and support field welders
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld maps, and project specifications
• Commitment to enforcing all safety policies and maintaining a safe jobsite
• Skilled in ARC (stick) and MIG welding; ability to evaluate and guide team performance in both
• 6G certification required
• Field welding experience with pipe; ability to support and oversee limited ductwork when needed
• Ability to operate lifting equipment and machinery safely
• Proficient in cutting, beveling, and fitting pipe
• Stainless steel welding experience is a plus
• Willingness to take on additional duties to support project needs and team success
