Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Superintendent to oversee field operations for plumbing projects in our North Texas market. This individual will manage day-to-day field activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining H&G's high standards for quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate field plumbing operations, including installation, scheduling, and quality control
- Oversee project manpower and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient completion
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and Engineers to maintain alignment on project goals
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements
- Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to plumbing crews to promote skill development and performance excellence
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and field teams
Qualifications
- An active Texas Journeyman Plumbing License is required at a minimum
- 7 years of experience in plumbing, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role
- Comprehensive understanding of all plumbing systems from domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and fuel gas, including best installation practices for commercial projects; knowledge of medical gas is a plus
- Strong understanding of the plumbing and fuel gas codes
- Proven ability to manage field personnel, schedules, and multiple job sites simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
