We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Load Builder to join our team. The Load Builder is responsible for accurately and safely preparing customer orders for delivery while maintaining a clean and organized yard.
Page Lumber, Millwork & Building Supplies is a family-owned employee-oriented company serving building professionals and project-oriented consumers in the Hudson Valley for nearly a century.
Store Hours
Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday: Closed
Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare lumber and building material orders
- Build and organize customer loads according to order specifications
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Load trucks accurately and securely
- Verify materials and quantities before loading
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist customers and drivers as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous lumber, building materials, warehouse, or yard experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be safety-conscious and dependable
