Role Description
We are seeking a part-time Billing Specialist to manage and oversee billing operations at H.E.R. Counseling and Wellness. This role is remote. The role includes responsibilities such as managing client billing, regular verification of insurance and benefits, and investigate claim denials and insurance payment issues. The Billing Specialist will work collaboratively with team members to streamline billing processes and address client billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Billing Process and expertise in Client Billing
- Excellent Communication skills and ability to address client and team member concerns effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with billing software and related tools preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare or mental health setting is a plus
- Medical coding and billing experience
