We are hiring a Director of Licensing to take full ownership of our licensing function and help drive the next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role responsible for building and scaling our licensing strategy. You will:
- Own and expand H.E.R.’s licensing portfolio across product categories
- Identify and secure emerging licenses, brands, and cultural trends before they peak
- Lead the full lifecycle of licensing deals — from sourcing to negotiation to execution
- Manage relationships with licensors (including major partners like Disney) and ensure strong ongoing communication
- Partner closely with internal teams to bring licensed products to market successfully
- Oversee and guide a small team, including a licensing coordinator supporting approvals and submissions
- Stay ahead of industry trends across social media, entertainment, and consumer behavior to drive new opportunities
What You Bring
- Proven experience in brand licensing and portfolio management across multiple categories
- Strong contract negotiation experience with complex licensing agreements
- Deep understanding of the licensing landscape—from major brands to emerging opportunities
- Ability to spot trends early and translate them into commercially viable partnerships
- Experience within consumer products, fashion, or accessories environments
- Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities to support licensing decisions
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
