Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, social needs, and behavioral challenges to inform treatment planning
- Deliver evidence-based interventions including crisis management, motivational interviewing, and addiction counseling to support recovery and resilience
- Provide crisis intervention services during acute episodes, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients in distress
- Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with client goals and community resources
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns, fostering professional growth and maintaining high-quality service delivery
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, child welfare agencies, Section 8 housing programs, and workforce development initiatives to coordinate care and support services
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and service outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards such as Medicare requirements
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent credential
- Able to supervise LCSW-S
- Proven experience in behavioral health settings with a focus on social work, crisis intervention, or addiction counseling
- Strong skills in crisis management, behavioral health assessment, and motivational interviewing techniques
- Knowledge of child welfare systems, childcare considerations, and Section 8 housing programs is highly desirable
- Experience supervising staff or mentoring interns is preferred
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and workforce development programs enhances your ability to serve diverse populations effectively
