- Apply broad business knowledge and advanced problem-solving skills to connect information, challenge assumptions, and guide teams toward better decisions.
- Synthesize complex financial, operational, and market information to surface insights, clarify tradeoffs, and support strategic choices.

Advising
- Acts as consultant on P&A programs, processes, policies
- Translate large and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for leaders and business partners.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner across Finance, Merchandising, Procurement, Pricing, and Operations—consulting with business leaders to frame opportunities, shape strategies and solutions, and translate complex challenges into actionable plans that influence business outcomes.
- Develops and implements performance improvement strategies, evaluates ongoing project performance
- Participates in cross-departmental projects
- Leads cross-functional special projects as necessary
- Trains, mentors, and transfers knowledge to fellow team members
- May provide work leadership for lower level employees
Work Experience
Qualifications & Key Requirements:
- 6 - 8 years of experience in financial analysis
- Experience with SQL or Python preferred
- Experience with BI/Reporting Tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or others
- Working knowledge of retail accounting-finance principles related to developing forecasting / budgeting / decision models
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced level facilitation and project management skills
- Advanced PC skills
- Ability to effectively work / communicate with all levels of management and Partners
- Ability to work complex issues with senior management using highly-developed influencing skills
- Ability to manage large-scale projects from conception to implementation
- Ability to produce work that impacts management decisions and business results
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision
- Self-directed; motivated to get results independently
- Strong attention to detail
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
