Mid Cities Healthy Living - Customer Service Spec - Part Time

Responsibilities Job Summary: As a Customer Service Specialist in our Healthy Living Department, you'll provide a well-stocked and well-maintained department while providing superior customer service. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Customer Service / Sales: Provides superior customer service Answers customer questions regarding products and assists them with selections; helps customers locate store merchandise Merchandises product effectively Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales Prepares work schedules for department Provides work direction and training to department Partners Stocking: Stocks and rotates items as needed Assists with inventory control; loads, unloads, and moves product Organizes, cleans, and prepares back area for the night crew and incoming trucks Organizes merchandise on pallets to make the department presentable to the public Ensures integrity of shelf tags and signage in department; may create / prepare signage, as needed Maintains standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation Checks shipments for out-of-date and damaged product to ensure freshness and quality of products Builds, stocks, maintains, and takes down store displays The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Qualifications & Key Requirements: Age Requirement: 18 Work Experience: 1 years of experience

• Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of natural foods, vitamins, minerals, macrobiotics, herbs, sports nutrition, organics, homeopathy, and aromatherapy

• Required Licenses/Certifications: Completion of Basics of Safety training
