H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC (“HCW”) is seeking Investment Banking Summer Analysts to join their banking team, in New York, NY for its Summer 2026 internship program.
HCW’s Summer Analysts work closely and directly with investment bankers and receive a continuous education in financial analysis and the financial markets, as well as a broad-based exposure to both advisory and underwriting products across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Investment Banking Analysts will act as part of our investment banking team on a range of engagements. They will be assigned a wide variety of projects and given as much responsibility as their experience and capabilities permit.
- Conduct proactive outreach to prospective and existing clients via phone and email to drive attendance and secure commitments for the firm’s upcoming fall investor conference
- Preparing analytical support
- Drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, and information memoranda
- Performing company, industry, market and competitor research and due diligence
Desired Qualifications:
- Undergraduate rising sophomores, rising juniors and rising seniors
- Proven academic track-record from an accredited university
- Self-starter; strong work ethic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player
