What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Helper position at H.C. Porter Gallery?
I am a female mixed media artist participating in the River Arts Fest from Friday, October 16th to Sunday October 18th. I am in need of an assistant to help with setup on Friday, from 8am until finished, and with breakdown Sunday evening, from 5:00pm until finished. Please be available to work show hours: Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. It is a fantastic learning experience for any college art, design or marketing student. You must be able to lift 25 pounds and have a friendly and outgoing personality to help deal with interested patrons. The show is held outdoors so you must be prepared for heat and or possible rain showers. I have been exhibiting in outdoor art festivals around the country for 30 years. I also have a signature gallery in Vicksburg, Mississippi. I would appreciate the help and I cover lunch. You are welcome to email me with any questions and I look forward to working with you!
