- 10 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience with a focus on Controls and Electrical, or a combination of a two-year technical degree from a certified technical institution and relevant experience
- General knowledge in Rockwell software and Allen Bradley PLCs
- Must be able to troubleshoot complex electronic systems
- Must have good problem-solving skills in troubleshooting/understanding plant processes
- Should be able to interpret electrical prints
- Analyzes trends and operating parameters on various electrical systems and equipment to identify potential or impending failures and to ensure plant is running at optimal efficiency
- Successful completion of the Technical Aptitude Test for Master Mechanics
- Candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates initiative and possess the ability to multi-task
- Must be able to support production work schedule, including weekend and holiday shift work when necessary
- Incumbent must be highly motivated, value continuous learning and be adaptable to a changing work environment
