Role Description This part-time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist role is based at H&B Bodyworks and Wellness in Eugene, OR. The therapist will provide customized massage sessions, including therapeutic massage and specialty techniques, based on client assessments and wellness goals. Daily responsibilities include greeting clients, discussing health history and treatment preferences, maintaining accurate session notes, and delivering consistent, professional bodywork. The role also involves supporting stress management through appropriate modalities, educating clients about self-care practices, and ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment space. The therapist will collaborate with the team on scheduling, client follow-up, and service improvements while upholding all licensing and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong client-facing and Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust.
- Must be comfortable working with transgender and neurodiverse clientele.
- Proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques tailored to individual client needs.
- Experience or training in Swedish, Deep Tissue or similar modality-based bodywork approaches.
- Ability to support clients with Stress Management through massage and related wellness practices.
- Currently licensed in the state of Oregon as a massage therapist.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and contraindications for massage; commitment to safe and ethical practice.
- Reliability in maintaining schedules, accurate documentation, and professional boundaries.
- CPR/First Aid certification and experience in a wellness, spa, or clinical setting are beneficial.
Compensation
- $30-$38 per session hour, depending on experience and modality proficiency.
- Flexible scheduling options. (We are closed on Tuesdays)
