As a Team Member, you will be responsible for creating delicious frozen treats, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a delightful experience for our customers. Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with customers in a warm and welcoming manner
- Assist customers in choosing from our wide selection of ice cream flavors and toppings
- Prepare and serve ice cream cones, cups, sundaes, shakes, and other frozen treats with creativity and precision
- Operate ice cream machines, mixers, and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the serving area, including the ice cream counter, toppings bar, and dining tables
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the cash register or point-of-sale system
- Ensure the availability of clean utensils, napkins, and other supplies for customers
- Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries about our ice cream flavors, ingredients, and allergen information
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and excellent customer service
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking ice cream containers, toppings, and other supplies
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as ice cream shop, dessert café, or fast-food establishment, is a plus but not required
- Passion for ice cream and a desire to create delightful experiences for customers
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creativity in ice cream presentation and the ability to make attractive sundaes and milkshakes
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Food handling and safety certification is a plus
