Assistant Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate
Pay: $12.50 – $14.50 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Pay Frequency: Weekly (every Friday)
Location: Del Rio, TX
Job Summary
We are hiring an Assistant Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to support our delivery team and warehouse operations. This is an entry-level to mid-level position ideal for someone familiar with delivery and warehouse duties who is willing to learn and grow.
You will work alongside a lead driver and be trained on deliveries, basic appliance setup, and showroom preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead driver with delivering and setting up furniture and appliances in customer homes
- Help perform basic appliance installations, including:
- Connecting washer hoses
- Plugging in dryers (electric connection only)
- Assisting with refrigerator door removal when needed
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Assemble merchandise and help set up showroom displays
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and showroom
- Support general store upkeep, including light outdoor/landscaping duties
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
Requirements
- Familiarity with delivery, warehouse, or moving work preferred
- Willingness to learn and be trained by lead driver
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs independently and assist with heavier items using a dolly or team lift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
