What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Coordinator (24-40hrs/wk) position at GZA?
Due to GZA's continued business growth and profitability, our Oak Brook, Illinois office is expanding! We are currently looking for a Billing Coordinator on a part time to full time schedule (24-40 hr/week) to join a team of dedicated Finance Professionals who are an integral part of GZA's business. Key Duties:
- Timely and accurate billing for designated projects
- Set up and maintain projects in Deltek accounting system
- Review revenue recognition and perform job cost analysis for assigned projects
- Coordinate with and assist Project Managers on financial matters related to assigned projects
- Additional special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Finance, or equivalent experience, is required
- Additional 2-4 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in a professional services organization
- Experience in transportation or public agency billing is required
- Computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
- Knowledge of Deltek Accounting Software is a plus
- Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to respond in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
The base salary range for this position is $57,500 – $73,500 depending on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.
