GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Huff & Huff, a subsidiary of GZA) is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Coastal Waterfront team. This is a Hybrid position that will sit in our Oak Brook, IL or Brookfield, WI office location. The ideal candidate is a Civil/Coastal Engineer with a strong interest in Coastal Waterfront projects across the Great Lake Region. Projects include shoreline and beach protection, site development, coastal bluff slope and toe protection, dredging and various other coastal projects.

Key Duties:
- Preparing project plans utilizing Civil 3D
- Assist with field data collection and other work as needed
- Conducting technical analyses/calculations
- Preparation of design plans and technical specifications
- Part-time construction observations
- General support tasks for a variety of projects
- GZA emphasizes a One Company environment, and as a member of our team, you may be asked to assist on projects and tasks outside of your primary responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, coastal or marine engineering; Master’s degree a plus
- 1-4 years relevant work experience
- College course work in coastal science/engineering preferred but not required
- Strong Civil 3D and AutoCAD skills
- EIT or PE preferred or ability to obtain

Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
