Position Summary
GZ Printpak LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician & Setter to support production operations on 3rd shift. This hands-on role is responsible for machine setup, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues with minimal supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Set up and adjust production equipment to meet production requirements and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
- Support machine changeovers, startups, and operational adjustments.
- Assist operators in resolving equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Inspect equipment and identify opportunities for reliability and performance improvements.
- Maintain maintenance records and work documentation using computer-based systems.
- Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout requirements and safe work practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, electromechanical technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work around manufacturing equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely perform maintenance activities in an industrial manufacturing environment.

9:30pm - 6:00am
