Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for a reliable and energetic Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our busy kitchen crew. In this role, you’ll help keep our kitchen running smoothly by handling dishwashing duties and assisting with food preparation. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items.
- Support food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all surfaces and tools meet health regulations.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, mixers, or food prep tools.
- Handle manual tasks like lifting heavy pots or crates of supplies with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Follow all sanitation, health, and safety standards to create a safe environment for staff and guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are a plus.
