Job Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable, people-focused Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our restaurant. This role is ideal for someone with strong restaurant experience who’s ready to take ownership of operations, lead a team, and drive excellent service, cleanliness, and food quality. Management experience is preferred, but not required—we’ll strongly consider high-performing restaurant leaders ready to step up. You’ll be responsible for running a smooth shift, developing the team, maintaining quality and cleanliness standards, and helping the store hit sales and labor goals. This role is hands-on—you’ll lead from the front and set the tone for service, speed, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service
- Run daily store operations to ensure fast, friendly, accurate service
- Lead shift execution: staffing, prep, line flow, and guest experience
- Maintain food quality, portioning, speed of service, and store standards
- Ensure consistent compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements
Team Leadership
- Hire, train, coach, and develop team members
- Create schedules based on sales needs and labor targets
- Lead by example and support the team on the floor during busy periods
- Set expectations, provide feedback, and maintain accountability
Cost Control & Admin
- Manage ordering, receiving, and waste tracking
- Control labor and food costs while maintaining quality and speed
- Handle cash management, deposits, and basic operational reporting
- Communicate store performance and needs to ownership/leadership
Customer Experience
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and quickly
- Maintain a positive store environment and strong hospitality culture
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Restaurant experience (fast casual/quick service/high-volume preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team during rush periods
- Comfortable working on your feet and supporting all stations as needed
- High accountability, reliability, and strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic food safety and cleanliness standards
Preferred
- Restaurant management or lead experience
- Experience with scheduling, inventory/order management, and training
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and reporting
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
