Overview
Gypsophila Essentials is seeking a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our growing wellness and home fragrance boutique located in Yellow Green Farmers Market.
The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, enjoys boutique retail environments, and has an interest in fragrance, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle products. Team members will assist customers with product recommendations, maintain visual merchandising standards support daily store operation, and help create warm and welcoming in-store experience.
This role is idea for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, learning about products, and working within a creative and aesthetically driven retail environment.
Responsibilities
-Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
-Educate customers on candles, aromatherapy, wellness products, and fragrance collections.
-Recommend products based on customer preferences and needs.
-Maintain store cleanliness, organization and visual merchandising displays.
-Restock inventory and assist with product presentation.
-Process purchases through online system.
-Assist with seasonal displays and events.
-Support daily retail operations and opening/closing procedures.
-Help maintain Gypsophila's warm inviting and elevated customer experience.
Qualifications
-Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Interest in wellness, beauty, fragrance, or lifestyle products
-Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment..
-Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
-Weekend availability preferred.
Preferred Experience
-Boutique retail experience.
-Sales experience.
-Social media or content creation experience is a plus.
-Experience with candles, beauty, skincare, or wellness products is preferred but not required.
Pay
Starting $15 per hour (depending on experience) potential sales commission/incentives
