Join Our Growing Women's Health Team as a Certified Medical Assistant!
We are a dynamic gynecology and preventative health clinic looking for a passionate, full-time (4-5 days) Certified Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. If you’re motivated, proactive, and eager to make an impact in women’s health, we want to hear from you! Previous experience in gynecology is a plus, but not required.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with patients, assist physicians in delivering exceptional care, and contribute to the overall success of our office. Your day will be a blend of hands-on patient care, administrative tasks, and keeping our practice running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Interaction: Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism, both in person and over the phone.
- Patient Info Management: Collect and verify patient medical history and reason for their visit.
- Preparing Patients: Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure they are ready for their appointment.
- Vitals & Basic Exams: Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, weight, height, temperature).
- Specimen Collection: Draw blood and prepare lab specimens when needed.
- Room Preparation: Keep exam rooms clean, organized, and ready for patient use.
- Patient Education: Help patients understand procedures, treatments, and medication instructions.
- Administrative Support: Answer calls, manage office correspondence, and assist with patient paperwork.
- Confidentiality & Record-Keeping: Maintain strict patient confidentiality and accurate medical records.
- Front desk responsibilities as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient inquiries about procedures, treatments, and surgeries.
- Educate patients on medication, lifestyle changes, and post-care instructions.
- Keep the clinic compliant with safety regulations, legal standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Manage inventory, monitor supply levels, and place orders as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and maintain medical equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in medical practices and techniques through ongoing learning and professional development.
