Role Description This on-site Preschool Teacher role is based in Stockton, CA. The Preschool Teacher plans and delivers engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support children’s early academic, social-emotional, and physical growth. Daily responsibilities include creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, supervising children during learning and play, and maintaining clear classroom routines. The role also involves observing and documenting children’s progress, communicating regularly with families, collaborating with colleagues and administrators, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education, with knowledge of child development principles and best practices for preschool and Kindergarten readiness.
- Ability to design and implement age-appropriate Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Effective Communication skills for partnering with children, families, and team members, including clear verbal and written communication.
- Previous experience working in a preschool, childcare center, or early learning environment is preferred.
- Relevant education or certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (state-required units or credentials as applicable).
